November 1, 2009 - Construction is complete. Chairs are in place.Everything is ready! Meeting for all church workers Sunday night Nov. 1 at 6pm. October 09, 2009 - Carpet is laid everywhere except the sanctuary, all the rooms have been cleaned, we are waiting on the sound panels for the sanctuary before laying the carpet. July 11, 2009 - Construction still ahead of schedule, 95% of the sheetrock has been hung.. Conjecture has the completion for late August or early September. For Sale signs will go up on the current building the week of July 13th. June 17, 2009 - Construction is ahead of schedule, the baptismal was set this week. February 23, 2009 - Construction begins! January 21, 2009 - At a special called Business Meeting bids were presented to the church. Bid was awarded to Hicks Construction Company, Tommy Hicks owner, for $2.8 million. The total allowed for the load was $3 million which will enable the purchase of a sound system and additional furniture. January 2009 - Last day for questions about bids and property is January 6th. Bidding is closed on January 15th at 2pm. December 2008 - Bids are being receive and a contractor will be selected in January 2009. October 2008 - A Capital Campaign has been selected and is schedule to begin in January of 2009. A second construction company is looking at the property the week of October 13th. Construction drawings are still in progress. Solicitation for bids has not begun. Construction drawings scheduled for completion at the end of November. September 2008 - Debt on new property and Ford bus were paid in full. March 2004 - Beech Park purchased the property formerly known as Tri-County Mall for $470,000. February 2004 - At a special called business meeting Beech Park voted to proceed to bid on property (formerly called Tri-County Mall) that was to be sold at auction; Pastor Robbie Leach was elected to be the spokesperson at the auction; deacons and trustees were given authority and responsibility to come up with an amount to bid; with a charge to not discuss their decision with anyone outside the group approved to make this decision. Pastor Robbie prayed for a "hedge of protection to act on God's direction. Satan would attack but there is no reason to fear. Regardless of the outcome, this church has made a positive vote on its future. The church has said we are ready for the challenge that God has placed before us."
